2020 Planfest & Chili-Cookoff

Location:  Colonial Beach Community Center

Time:  12:00 - 4:00 - Cost:  $10.00

Menu:   Chili, Saltine crackers,  assorted chili toppings, tea, lemonade, soda, water, beer & wine.  Homemade Cornbread compliments of MJ Smith!

1. Members please bring your ideas of where you want to travel to for the upcoming 2020 boating season

2. Please start thinking about which trips you'd like to volunteer to be float/event captain for and help take the reins with us to manage our events this 2020 season.   

Chili-cook-off details:   Judges will "taste and judge" chili between 12:00 & 12:45 - announcing their decision at 1:00 pm.   We have invited nine (9) members to enter their FAMOUS Chili for a chili cook-off contest.   Our judges will be formed into three (3) teams of two people each who will judge the chili together (using an official judging "point" system")  A grand prize will be given to the BEST chili and runner-up.

Chili-makers please arrive by 11:30 to get your chili setup at the crockpot station. Volunteers for this event are Mike & Eva Barnes, Cassandra Martin & Salma Hussen.  Event Volunteers please arrive between 9am and 9:30 am to begin setup of this event.

Plan fest "discussion"  will begin at approximately 1:30 pm.     We have a  bunch of new members who keep their boats at cool marinas! So, let's shake things up a bit this year and spice up the calendar.   We are here for you to help plan a wonderful and FUN 2020 boating season.
