CHANGE IN PLANS - MARINA CHANGE!!!
Well..... I know everyone has already registered to go to Somer's Cove Marina in Crisfield MD BUT....... they have canceled most of the things we were interested in going for :( not to mention there is not much in town to do and restaurants are at a minimum.
The Crab Derby - CANCELLED
Boat Docking Contest - CANCELLED
SO..... after lots of consideration and a possible Plan B, Hyatt River Marsh - Cambridge is an excellent option. I have made the arrangements for us to spend our Labor Day weekend there. If you still want to go to Somer's Cove you may still do that but for those who would rather change the information is below for how to register. They have more than enough slips to accommodate our group. I will open it up to others who had not planned on attending after our original group registers first.
To register for this upcoming Labor Day Weekend! go to Dockwa.com and search for Hyatt River Marsh Cambridge and register for the nights that work for you. I think most will come in on Friday and will Leave Monday or Tuesday morning.
CANCEL YOUR EXISTING RESERVATION BELOW AND USE NEW INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU WOULD RATHER GO TO THE HYATT RIVER MARSH in CAMBRIDGE....

From the Chesapeake Bay, enter the Choptank River heading east as you approach the Senator Frederick C. Malkus, Jr. Bridge (a 50-ft. vertical clearance). While heading under the bridge, continue towards green marker 27. Make a starboard 90 turn at green 27 and the entrance to our Maryland dock will be approximately 300 yards away at your bow. As you enter the marina, the docks will be to your portside starting with "Dock C" and going to "Dock A." The fuel and pump-out stations are located on Dock C. A floating concrete breakwater pier encircles the marina. Our Maryland boat docks are all fixed piers with floating docks available upon request. Call on VHF Channel 09 / 72 for contact.
*** There is a resort fee for using all the amenities and at least it was $20 per boat NOT per person. I have not reconfirmed that information so don't hold me to that. We went as a large WYA group back in 2018 and not sure what may have changed. I would bring a bike if you can, there is alot of walking, they will pick you up by golf cart at the end of the dock and take you up to the hotel pools etc. If I am not mistaken there are two restaurants one being at the end of our dock.
Please also email me if you sucessfully change your reservation/plans for the weekend to the Hyatt River Marsh - Cambridge so I know who is going.... Thank You!
