 Dear WYA Members,

Re: General Membership Meeting -Monday, October 26, 2020 - at 6:30 pm

It is that time of year again when we rally around to assemble our new bridge for the Westmoreland Yachting Association.  It is amazing that we were able to have a few wonderful events this year (in spite of all the world has thrown into our laps). Some of our events included the St. Patrick's Day kick-off at Bayside, a week long trip in June, Cape Charles "GetAway" trip, random "pop-ups" with members located all over and most recently the "Who Let The Pigs Out" at Bayside which was a SMASH!

We wish to thank our outgoing bridge for their incredible service this year and devotion to the well-being of this club .  If you have a moment to personally thank them in an email, that would be wonderful.NEW BUSINESS:  The ByLaws state that we are to give our general members at least two (2) weeks notice of our GMM and also announce the members who have "tossed their name in the hat" to serve on our 2021 WYA Bridge.  Please note: Heather Shrader and Paula Giles have respectfully requested to step-down.        Please take a look at the members above.  If  you agree with the proposed 2021 Bridge, we need your VOTE!  There are TWO STEPS HERE....

1. EMAIL:   Please cast your Vote by Email direct to our Mark  Mitchell, Commodore - HERE -   Simply say "Yes" I agree with proposed 2021 Bridge or No..  (hopefully that won't happen).    Thank you!

2. Please Attend the GMM via    on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 6:30 pm.   A link will be sent to the general membership on the morning of 10/26/2020.

We thank you so much for your time and attention.  Our 2020 Commodore awaits your decision (by 10/25/2020 so we can count your ballots). Bridge awaits your decision and looks forward to serving in the year to come.

Be Well and Stay Safe - see you soon!

Mark Mitchell, Commodore
