For those that have not been - Crisfield Maryland is a great getaway, and Labor Day Weekend is an ideal time to visit as they also host their Annual Crab Derby, an event which is the center of their Labor Day Festival. Events begin on Thursday, September 2nd and span through Sunday September 5.
This year our Float Captains are Ken Novellino and Dan Farrell. They have secured a block of slips on G dock (floating). At this point it appears as if Somers Cove Marina can take up to 15 boats.
Members interested in securing a slip as part of the group, please add your information to THIS sheet, or contact Ken or Dan via email to get added. While we have till August 1st to firm up the reservations, once the 15 slips are filled we will be submitting our list to Somers Cove so do not wait till last minute to get registered.
Should you miss our deadline or wish to secure your own reservation feel free to reach out directly to Somers Cove. Please let them know you are with WYA.
Slip rate is $2.25 per foot with two 30 amp OR single 50 amp electrical for $10 per day.
While there is no shortage of things to do in and around the town during this time, we may plan a cookout or two. As we get closer this event we will firm up any planned events and share that information with registered members. If you are interested in helping to host or plan an event (cookout/potluck/happy hour/excursion) PLEASE reach out. Your participation is appreciated.
