72nd Annual Potomac River Festival - CB Boat Parade

Lets support one of our longtime WYA members and former Commodore Phil Bolin in his efforts around the 72nd Annual Potomac River Festival and specifically, the BOAT PARADE on Sunday JUNE 11.

This parade is open to ANY and ALL boaters, regardless of club affiliation or not - and a great opportunity to visit Colonial Beach, where many WYA members call home (or home port).  The parade itself is on the tail end of a weekend long celebration of the Potomac River Festival, sponsored by the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Visit the festival site here for a list of events throughout the weekend, but lets help reach the goal of FIFTY boats in the parade! Decorations are NOT needed but I hear for those that do decorate, cash prizes are available.

While it is helpful to 'register' here on WYA Portal to let others know you are participating - more importantly you need to register your vessel and participation officially HERE, of course there is NO COST to participate.
