Crisfield, MD – Labor Day Weekend

The Crisfield National Hard Crab Derby is a favorite annual Labor Day weekend event on the Maryland Eastern Shore, a unique crab themed event that includes crab races, crab cooking and picking contests, crafts, live entertainment, beauty pageants, parade, fireworks and more. Known by many as "The Crab Capital of the World", Crisfield is home to many seafood restaurants and the Somers Cove Marina, one of the largest marinas on the East Coast.

He reached out to Somers Cover this week and **IMPORTANT UPDATE regarding (G DOCK) reservations**

For those expecting to RETURN TO G DOCK - reservations were to made before JANUARY 1, 2023 (?!?!?!?!?)

Joe was able to have that deadline extended to JUNE 1, 2023 for WYA members. So if you were expecting to be back on G dock call Mary Taylor NOW at 410-968-0925 extension 5, to make your reservation.

Keep in mind - all the docks within SOMERS COVE are great and regardless of slip location, you are NOT far from all the action.

This will be ANOTHER great Labor Day Weekend full of some the traditional activities as well as some new things (I see there is a TALL SHIP that is new).  More details will be forthcoming from the Crab Derby folks themselves (on their website) and Joe will keep us up to date on any WYA specific events that we need to be aware of.

I know many of us are just thinking about Memorial Day weekend plans and Labor Day is so far off......but time flies when you are having fun.  PLAN NOW to attend this event.
