POST PRYCA FLOAT- IN SUMMER CRUISE
The PRYCA Commodore is leading a POST float-in cruise.
Journey will begin from Cole’s Point Marina on July 30, 2023 and head down to Regatta Point Yachting Center in Deltaville, VA for 3 nights. This marina has a nice club house, swimming pool, cooking areas and courtesy van to go into town.
On August 2, depart Regatta Point Yachting Center and head down the bay to York River Yacht Basin in Gloucester Point, VA for 3 nights. York River Yacht Basin has a nice swimming pool, marina office, boat repair, on site restaurant and courtesy cars for travel into Gloucester and Yorktown.
On August 5, depart from York River Yacht Basin to home ports. If you want to stop at a marina on the way home to break up your ride, you can stop at Windmill Point on the Rappahannock River, Point Lookout Marina on Smith Creek, Corinthian Yacht Club on Smith Creek, or Olverson’s Lodge Creek Marina.
Dates: July 30, 2023 to August 5, 2023
Distance: Coles to Broad Creek = 42 Nautical Miles; Broad Creek to York River Basin = 32 Nautical Miles; York River to Coles point = 87 Nautical Miles (Approximate distances)
MAX BOATS - 10; limited on the number of boats based on marina’s capacity. Bill B will take the first nine boats that register with him. Please him your contact information to wbuke@aol.com and he will communicate details to the marinas. He will need your boat name, length, beam, power, club name, email and cell phone.
REMEMBER: This is a cruise to relax, socialize, and meet new people and due your own thing. There is no big agenda planned!
